Laura Stack

Laura Stack is a Singer-Songwriter, Recording Artist, Vocal Coach, and Founder of VoiceLove Studios. She helps adult female-identifying singers embody their fearless voices through sacred songs and chants, vocal technique, vocal wellness coaching, energy work, ukulele training, and a heart-centered women’s community.

Laura is deeply dedicated to carrying music medicine and guiding others into this ancient practice. She studied abroad at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Hungary, holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from Anderson University, completed the American Orff-Schulwerk Association Level III Teacher Training, was nominated as Teacher of the Year in Pinellas County Schools, and is a national award recipient from the American Center for Elemental Music and Movement.

As a professional recording artist and musician, Laura’s songs weave heartfelt stories with truth, love, and magic. Her original sacred folk music serves as a balm for the soul, offering the healing power of music through her angelic voice, easygoing guitar, grounding percussion, and intuitive musicality.

Laura is the founder and lead vocal coach of VoiceLove Studios, an online women’s vocal coaching school that helps adult women reclaim their voices. She also directs the Santa Fe Girls School Chorus, a middle school for girls. Laura taught music in many Title 1 public schools for 13 years before launching her music business in 2017. You can still find her in the classroom while substitute teaching for the West Las Vegas School District. In addition to performing professionally for sacred services, concerts, retreats, musical theater, and festivals, she volunteers as a song leader for the Santa Fe Threshold Singers, a local nonprofit organization providing the comfort of song for folks crossing the thresholds of life. Her favorite musical theater role was playing Roxie in Chicago, and her most memorable festival was performing her first all-original music set at the Awakening Into the Sun Festival in Saint Petersburg, FL in 2020. She recently had a blast performing for the Fearless Female Voices Festival in Santa Fe on March 9, 2025!

She actively participates in women’s communities, including the Warrior Goddess Circle, and integrates Toltec teachings and European Shamanism from her apprenticeship with HeatherAsh Amara into her practice.

Laura is committed to embodying unconditional love, merging the art of teaching with the intimacy of singing to guide listeners and students into the sacredness of their own voices.

I understand the fear of sharing your voice. Even though I've been a professional singer and highly trained music educator for over 25 years, I was stuck when it came to recording my album. I procrastinated for decades then failed three times in different recording studios. Looking back, I see how much power I gave away during those years.

In 2022, my Mom passed away from colon cancer and my girlfriend/bandmate and I parted ways. Something inside me broke open. I found HeatherAsh Amara and the Warrior Goddess Training Circle, which led me to Toltec teachings, European shamanism, and new awareness that helped me untangle old agreements. In search of healing, I moved to New Mexico for a fresh start. I wanted to claim my voice—and myself—at a deeper level. This move has been a true gift, in so many ways.

Through this journey, I learned to commit to myself and stop seeking outside validation—a habit ingrained from a lifetime as a performer and lover of the spotlight. I also learned to trust my inner wisdom, the power of community, and the deep healing that comes from witnessing myself and others with unconditional love.

I recently finished recording my debut album, Wild Woman Sage Spirit, a project 25 years in the making. I played songs from my new album while on tour for two months this fall. The first song I wrote when I was 18; the final song came to me last year. If I were to write a memoir, this album would be it. It weaves storytelling, struggle, beauty, and resilience through sacred folk songs. Each song carries medicine drawn from my lived experiences. It's now available for pre-order and will be released in 2025.

"I began Laura's music course completely unprepared for the beautiful experience it became. From the first class, I was able to tap more deeply into both my fear and my courage surrounding the issue of singing. Laura made me feel so welcome and comfortable, never pressuring me to sing when I wasn't ready but always supporting me in my effort to overcome a long-held agreement that my voice wasn't good enough. I'm so grateful to have been in this class because it's given me so much confidence in myself and created a breakthrough in my personal healing. Laura is a fantastic teacher and even more amazing human being! I highly recommend her as a music teacher!"
